A Kid... [NaLu]

 

Lucy was walking down Strawberry Street and was suddenly tripped on a rock and before she knew it she blacked out. 

When she was now conscious she opened her eyes to see a white light so bright that she have to adjust. So she blinked a few times until she got used to the brightness, she walked and walked trying to know where she was.

"Lucy!" someone called her but she didn't know where so she asked "Where??!" then she waited for the reply.

"Luce!" she heard it but still doesn't know where.. it echoes throughout the area so the sound spreads and makes it more hard for her to follow the sound so she just walked where her feet led her to and *pick*.. *pick* she turned around but saw no one then she heard it again *pick* *pick* *pick* pick* it was a small sound so it doesn't echo too much so she followed it.

*pick* it got a little close *pick* then louder until she woke up from her dream and fluttered open her eyes.

"What a weird dream.." then she remembered tripping then she laughed at her own self tripping on a rock. "Silly" thinking that she was funny tripping on a small rock then she heard it again.

*Pick!!* Pick!!* she heard it more near and clear she looked at her window and saw another one *pick!* then she knew what was causing it.

It was a pebble being thrown onto her window. "Argh!! don't try breaking my window!!" she shouted a bit low trying not to wake the landlady. She seated herself up while the pebble throwing continued. She turned to face the window and was annoyed at the human or whoever that was throwing at her window. So she peeked at who was doing this ridiculous pebble throwing.

Her eyes widened to see her pink haired dragon slayer standing in front of her apartment picking up a pebble and was now motioning to throw another one when he stopped and he stared at her window and saw the owner of the window angry.

He stopped and returned his hands inside his pockets, looked away from the window and whistled trying to make himself innocent and sometimes glances at the window to only see it being opened and his face was painted into a wide grin when suddenly a wild lamp appeared flying straight into his face and hit him.

She looked below to see his friend on the ground twitching and reminded "That's for trying to break my window" she told him for him to hear and she closed the window again and heard a click can be heard.

"Wait Lucy!!" she heard a voice near her and was shocked to see no one in particular.

"who...who's there!" she said in a wavering tone.

"Luce! look outside the window!" she heard and did what was asked and saw Natsu holding her lamp and a cup on his hands while wearing his toothy grin.

He motioned to put the lamp down and lifted the cup and heard a voice inside her apartment and then a memory came from her childhood days. 

Flashback She was at their garden playing with a kid with a weird hair color that, that was pink.

He was carrying plastic cups,a string and a small twig then he made a hole on the bottom of the cups and he putted the string through the hole then he tied it with the small twig and then he pulled. He gave her the other cup and ran until the string was fully stretched and lifted the cup on his mouth and she lifted it through her ear.

"I like you" then she blushed and smiled at him. End of flashback

She opened the window with the cup on her hand and smiled down at Natsu whom lifted the cup on his lips, she instead lifted it beside her ear.

"Luce... I'm sorry I didn't mean to break your window" and he sent an apologetic look to her. She now spoke while Natsu listens.

"yeah. but you meant to annoy me?" she replied

"no!no! that's not the reason why I'm here....well a little but that's not it" he countered

"see! at least the reason to annoy me is still there" she countered back at him

"I like you when you're angry" he said mockingly

"sorry for always being Happy" she sarcastically replied

"we'll get down to business" he breathed in and out then spoke "Lucy. I don't know what words I should tell you, but it's been bothering me" he had a troubled look on his face.

"what is it?" she demanded worriedly

"why are you so heavy? well happy can't even lift you you know? but I can. but that doesn't mean I can hold on much long-" got cut off

"good night Natsu!" she cut him off but heard a "wait! wait! wait!" outside the window and inside her room.

"it's just the other reason why I'm here. I want to tell you that I like you" he said it straightforwardly and in a serious tone and looked up to see a smiling Lucy.

"aww.. I also like you Natsu!" sounding appreciatively then looked down to Natsu.

"I meant to mean that whenever you're around you made something flutter inside me, whenever you smile you made my chest tighten, you made me jealous when..when other guys than me touches you or were beside you. it's that kind of like lucy" he explained in the make-shift-cellphone.

"that's just a crush Natsu it will change in a matter of time" she explained further thinking it was just Natsu confused then she smiled and yawned.

"it's alright to have a crush Natsu" she assured him but he looked dejected

"oh...then you don't like me?" his tone sounding dejected and hurt.

"I like you alright. You're just confused Natsu those feelings will change so don't think too much of it" she explained gently

"no. I think it's not that" he countered stubbornly 

"nats-" 

"I told you I like you but you think I'm just a kid to you. Am I?" he sounded hurt

"no! no! it's not like that! you might be an idiot and act like a kid sometimes" she countered quickly

"it's just... arrgh! it's hard to explain okay?" she sighed looking down at Natsu

"I'll listen" he replied seriously

"ahh! Natsu! I told you it's just a-" she looked at Natsu who was now determined

"okay. I l-like y-you alright? but I never thought that you would return it so whenever you say 'I like you' I would just think it's just a friend-like, nothing more, nothing less" she explained briefly

"so you like me?" asked Natsu who has a sparkling eyes

"yes. can I go now?" she whined

"she said yes!! she said yes!" he shouted cheerfully

"then...do you still like me Luce?" he asked hopeful

"yes I do" she agreed

"you love me?! I love you too Luce!" he reminded her cheerfully. Lucy just smiled down at him 'he's still a kid'

"you're still thinking that I'm still a kid right?" he guessed 

"no! of course not!" she replied awkwardly

"*ehem* I like you Luce, I liked you when we first met, I liked you for a long time now. I always smelled your strawberry and vanilla scent that made me want to kiss you, hug you, and cuddle with you, whenever a strand of hair falls from your head I always resisted trying to brush it away... I wanna nuzzle your neck and kiss it, I always wanna hear you laugh and see you smile, I wanna be the reason why you laugh that's why it's okay with me if I looked like an idiot as long as it can make you smile and laugh. You look cute when you pout and got angry, you're weird and that's also the part that I like you" he finished talking and looked up to see no one.

He climbed up to the window and peeked to see a lucy under the sheets in a fetus way. He noticed the string was also under the sheets so his talking wasn't wasted.

"I think I fell for you Luce" he said. Then the bed shifts to find a curious Lucy peek through and when she saw Natsu she quickly hid under the sheets.

"N-Natsu I'm going to s-sleep" she stuttered and he smelled nervousness.

"Luce are you okay?" then he pulled the sheets away to find a Lucy. Her face flushed and her eyes were shut tight and opened it to see Natsu, her mouth fell open.

"N-N-Natsu!" and covered her face. Natsu was shock to see this side of Lucy. So he tried pushing her to her limits.

"Luce I wanna kiss you" he leaned close and turned her on her back until she was facing him.

"I wanna hug you" and touched Lucy's hand that flinched a little when he touched it.

"I wanna cuddle with you Luce" and kissed her hands

"What are you doing!!" she suddenly sits-up and pushed Natsu and failed and was met face to face with his. She panicked and looked for an escape. She crawled out of bed but was pulled back by her legs and was now forced to lye down on her back and her hands got pinned by her sides.

"Luce you're the one who acts like a child now" he teased

"and you're the one who acts mature now!" she countered

"Luce. Do I still looked like a kid to you?" he asked pained

"A....Little?" and smiled awkwardly at him

He lifted her left hand and kissed her fingers which made her tense and blushed furiously.

"Now?" and continued to trail kisses and she shook her head disagreeing

"Do I look like a man?" he asked and she shook her head again. He intertwined their fingers together and placed it above her head and kissed her nose and she shuddered, he kissed her flushed cheek and she got tensed and kissed the side of her mouth and made it part a little, he kissed her jaw line and nibbled her ear which in return she moaned.

"Okay! Okay! You're a man now!" she admitted. Her face still flushed and her eyes were looking straight into his and he felt her nervousness and he liked it. He lifted their still intertwined hands on their side and he flopped down nuzzling his nose on her neck and sniffed her scent.

"Natsu! don't sniff me!" she whined

"you smell good Luce" he just replied and continued sniffing.

"do...you still remember what I said whenever I smelled your strawberry and vanilla scent?" he asked lifting his head from her neck and she nodded.

"If I re-remember c-correctly when you smell it...it m-made you w-want to k-ki-kiss me" she replied stuttering from nervousness.

He just smiled lazily down at her and nuzzled at her neck once again which made her tense.

He took the chance to brush his lips lightly at her neck. Feeling it against his lips.

"Na-Natsu?" she asked hesitantly

"Can you say that you like me?" he asked with puppy eyes. He noticed how her hands sometimes tightened its hold against his.

"I-I can't!" she whined

"Why? I thought that you liked me?" he countered while pouting

"Yeah I do! but I still won't!" she insisted stubbornly so Natsu pretended to look shocked then transformed into disappointment then lastly sad.

"Hey. I'm sorry that I bothered you I shouldn't have forced you from the beginning" he said sad and tried to look pained and let go of her hands slowly fighting the urge to tackle her and instead motioned to leave for the windows.

"Hey Luce, I still like you though" then he smiled pained.

He was about to jump out when he was pulled back by slim arms.

"Idiot, Idiot, Idiot!" she kept saying and saying and not knowing she was now choking him.

"Lu-Luce....can't..breathe!" he said choking

"Sorry" then lets go

"it's...ok?" he replied scratching his head

"I-I'll..say it" she shouted looking the other way. 'I won!!' he shouted inside his mind, he was anticipating it.

"Well?" he demanded

"once only!!" she demanded

"okay, but I have to do this to secure that you wouldn't run away" he grabbed her hands and slipped his fingers between hers and holds it securely and he smiled at her.

"o-okay, no-now. I L-Li-Like you" she stuttered

"Stuttering doesn't count though" he added

"wha! but I said only once!" she protested

"but you didn't say that you can't repeat it again" he countered feeling proud

"wha! no way!" she insisted

"yes way..hehe" he grinned meekly

"I-" she was interrupted "there will be a reward" he added

"arrgh!" she frowned. She sucked air "I l-like you" she said with a stutter

he kissed her cheek.

"wha- what's that about?" she asked surprised by the surprise kiss he gave her

"the reward!" and kissed the back of her hand again which was intertwined with his.

"done..so what now?" she demanded

"I'll just do this then" he leaned closed to her face and she instantly blushed

"wa-wait" she was leaning backwards away from his lips that was inching to get close to hers until she fell to her back on her bed.

"Nowhere to run now are we?" he mocked her. She just pouted back at him but averted her gaze when she realized that their hands were now in front of her showing it off. She blushed and steams can be seen.

"You're really weird you know that?" he reminded her.

She somehow remembered something "Natsu. Can I ask you something?" her tone in a hopeful tone anyway

"Do you have feelings for lisanna?" she managed to ask and Natsu quickly shook his head.

"Nope. Do you like me?" he asked. She looked surprise that he didn't even thought of the answer and she nodded and smiled up at him.

"do you even know if your feelings were real?" Lucy asked Natsu hoping that he does.

"Yeah, because I've never been this way to a girl before. First time actually" he grinned and leaned forward to kiss her forehead.

She pouted and kissed him back on the nose and giggled when he moved it in circles and blushed again when she realized what she has done.

"can I....can we sleep?" asked Lucy while fighting back her yawn her face were still tinted with a slight pink. Her eyes were a bit red from lack of sleep and almost dozed off a bit.

"Sure" Natsu replied. He closed the window and propped down beside Lucy. She quickly fell asleep as of earlier she already wanted to go back to sleep it's only because of Natsu that she can't sleep.

Natsu put his arm under her neck while her head rested on the pillow and he pulled her closer to him feeling her squishy, soft and plump body against him and hugged her with his other arm and he made her more close with his left leg spooned around her thighs, as for Lucy she felt his warm hug and smiled lazily and then when he was done making them close together she wrapped her right arm around his waist feeling his muscles that made her comfortable and sighed when she felt Natsu's soft and warm lip lapped from hers, she smiled and snuggled more closer and they both fell asleep.
